Parade around Plaza de Armas

While nursing a hangover with a greasy breakfast, we ran into a parade around the Plaza. From what I gather this parade was about the different regions in Cusco.

Tipon

Tipon is an hour away from Cusco by taxi and is known for it's working aqueducts that were built by the Inca. Overall this was a nice day trip with scenic views of the valley and ruins.

The Molino

After lunch and still hungover, I headed towards the Molino to buy a hairdryer. The Molino is a huge covered market with many different types of vendors. They have everything there, kids toys, housewares, electronics, panties, and party favors. I got kind of lost wandering around in that place, it's huge and maze like. I would've, should've taken more pictures but I blame the hangover.

Around Plaza De Armas

One of the major centers of Cusco, it's busy with hawkers, tourists, and traditional products. The area is surrounded by beautiful Cathedrals, which I was able to see for cheap passing as estudiante. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take any pictures inside.

Cusco, Food and Drink

Not exactly sure what this building is, I'll ask and update

There are quite a few buildings in Cusco that look as if they will fall apart at any moment.

Peruvian underwear store

Maximo where my brother works to teach English. Apparently there is a random strip club in the basement (not part of the school).

Second floor study area

This beer is everywhere (please excuse the blurry picture).

Salchipapas for dinner. It was amazing, french fries covered with hot dog with chicken. You can put a bunch of sauces and salsa on it. The whole thing was equivalent to 2 bucks.

Coca Tea that I had this morning. It was good, tasting similar to green tea but different (more leafy?) it gave me a mild buzz.
