Lake Titicaca
Floating Island.
Amantani Island
Our Host Fernando!
Yes they dressed us up in the traditional clothing. That was kind of embarrassing, I'm only putting this up for you Mom.
Lake Titicaca was amazing, tiring, but amazing. For only 70 soles each, we found a tour that showed us around the floating islands by boat, and let us stay with a family on Amantani island. Our meals were included except for one, and our host family cooked meals for us from what they had farmed. There were also a bunch of pretty long uphill hikes, but it was worth it because the views were pretty spectacular.

WOW julie that is absolutely amazing! i really like the dog motor pic. very princely.
Haha...you said "Titicaca"! Now that I got that out of the way...wow, indeed! Great pictures, everything looks amazing. I especially love the arch. After the picture, did you have the option to purchase the authentic clothing? Did the island feel like it was floating? More details, please.
Ha! Yeah honestly I didn't know much about the lake until I got here, had no idea about the floating islands really. Nah they didn't give us the option of purchasing the clothes, although i think they were all hand made. The floating island was strange, it felt squishy walking on it. and you could see the whole thing sort of moving with the waves.
