There are so many stray dogs in Cusco and you can find them everywhere begging for food or eating trash. It's so foreign coming from a place like California where people worship their pets. It seems that these dogs subsistence relies on the garbage disposal system here, where people dump their garbage on the streets to be cleaned up late at night by the city.
